Thank you for choosing the First Data Global Gateway e4. Following is a guide to getting started with GGe4 after your merchant account has been approved.
Within 24 hours of your merchant account application approval you will receive 2 emails from GGe4.Support@firstdata.com. One email will contain your user name and the other will contain your temporary password. Sometimes the emails will get caught in spam filters, so please check your Junk Mail/Spam folder before calling the help desk. If after 24 hours you have not received the emails, please contact the help desk at 855-448-3493 and choose Option 2 then Option 3.
Once you’ve received your log in credentials you can log into the gateway at https://globalgatewaye4.firstdata.com. On your initial log-in, you will be prompted to create a new password. Be sure to set up a strong password that you can easily remember. If you ever need to reset your password, you will need to call the help desk.
If you plan to do any integration with a Hosted Payment Page or Web Service API, or need training on how to use the Real-time Payment Manager (RPM), you can search this knowledge base for reference material, sample code, video tutorials, FAQs, etc. We recommend you bookmark this knowledge base for future reference. It can also be accessed while logged into the RPM.
Global Gateway e4 Technical Support is available 24/7 by calling 855-448-3493 or you can fill out a web form. Web form responses typically take 24 – 48 business hours. Integration calls and escalated issues are handled M-F between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM ET.
